UTHS Booster Club would hope you’ll consider either continuing your membership or join for the first time.

The Booster Club is in its 20th year and hopes to be able to continue the financial support it has over the past 20 years.  Currently, the Booster Club has raised over $1,225,000.00.  With your help, we will meet this year’s budget of $130,000.00.  Before making this important decision, here are answers to some of the most asked questions about the UTHS Booster Club and the different memberships.

Q.  What is the United Township Booster Club?
A.  A group of dedicated community people who are totally interested in maintaining extracurricular activities for students at United Township High School.

Q.   Who benefits from the Boosters’ efforts?
A.   Virtually all students are directly or indirectly affected by the dollars raised by the Boosters.

Q.   What have the Boosters done recently?
A.   The Boosters have made many significant financial contributions to extra-curriculars at U.T.:

UTHS Booster Club Contributions:

Raised $20,000.00 for the improvement of the soccer complex

Contributed $100,000.00 to build the new fitness center

Contributed $8,000.00 to update the fitness center equipment

Donated $13,000.00 to refinish the Gym B Floo

Purchased a Scoreboard and Timing Console for the Swim Team for $5,885.00

Purchased new indoor batting cage in 2005-06

Funded underground watering system for baseball, softball, P.E., and football practice fields

Purchase thousands of dollars of sports uniforms yearly.

Purchase band uniforms

Committed $50,000.00 to the construction of the new band/music room addition

Purchased new instruments for the band with a yearly commitment of $5,000.00

Purchased computer equipment for athletic and fine arts departments

Funded a major concert band trip to Western Illinois University

Q.   Does the Booster Club do other things besides raise money?
A.   Yes.  We have social gatherings after football games and basketball games and host an appreciation dinner for all activities.  We host award banquets, and have a great time making new friends while volunteering for committees or working in the concession stands.

Q.   Why should I join the Booster Club?
A.   Because your student is important.  Without your support, extracurricular programs may not be available to them.

Levels of Membership  

  • Individual Membership - $15.00:  The Individual membership entitles members to all social functions and name listed in program.
  • Family Membership - $25.00:  The Family membership is for husbands and wives and entitles them to all social functions and names listed in program.
  • Orange Panther - $50.00: The Orange Panthers will receive the same privileges plus two lapel pins are provided.
  • Silver Panther - $100.00: The Silver Panthers will receive all privileges of Orange Panthers plus a reserved parking pass for football and boy’s basketball and a pocket planner for UT activities.
  • Gold Panther - $250.00:  The Gold Panthers will receive all the privileges of Silver Panthers plus two (2) season passes to football and boy’s basketball and two (2) Gold Cards good for all other athletic and fine arts events, including school sponsored tournaments.  IHSA Tournaments – Playoffs not included.
